Obscure Conundrum

8b0adcc0ab688600aa3f96b67539d9e6

Thorny as on rose stem,
prickling my mind,

Morning breaths perplexed
Blemished night thoughts

Vigor in dire need
Thee seem in dire straits

It’s not a phase
It’s not a phase

Voices beware

Deep are these conundrums
Deeper the obscure

Hiatus your happiness
Interim thee rejoice

Fear is the ‘Lock’
Courage thy ‘Key’
Clarity thy ‘answer’

purpose thee seek
Truth thee seek

Only

Deep are these conundrums
Deeper the obscure

Inner feelings crumble upon

Past always haunts for a long

There was never one

But

Experiences of others surrounds ton

A poke in the heart fills with romance

When I see a glance

The heart is already someone’s

So you go back being  lone

Head says

Be Strong-minded

As this is your ultimate motto

We all get lost sometimes

And that is absolutely fine

Heart says

Don’t Push hard

Loosen up the strings

Try trusting once

Who knows

You might get a new bunce

Peace Says

Cut open the chains

Come out of the shell

Forget the world

Which doesn’t cares

Never let anyone control your mind

You got one life

Be independent

Let that be on own terms

Found and Lost

27760

Four letter word approached life
burst of emotions spread in my body
Always known for practicality
I botched up in first meet
realized too late

He liked my smile
I liked his flirtatious ways
He liked the way I am
I liked him for accepting I

BUT

Our perspectives differed
opinions opposite
Both strong headed
Both stubborn
It was heading nowhere

Love is blind I somewhere realized
Love is addictive I somewhere realized
Love is infectious I confess

Happy that we didn’t disguise

Glad that we were still in ‘like’ mode
By the time it was too late to explode

Found and lost fond too fast
No hard feelings for the cast .

Never Picked

beautyartword111

Beauty never matters  is easy to state

prejudices part of all thee .

The way you speak ,

The way you look ,

Comments ever fly’s

Why people are opined ?

it strikes a thought ,

The world is way happy without the shout .

Never Picked by love

Victimized me ,

Complaining me ,

Never Picked from me ,

Victimized you,

Complaining you ,

Soul is all that matters

Soul is what comes to rest

Soul is the one , constant under test …..

Beauty is just a word

Never pick as it is blurred …

Who Inspires You

After a very long time i found something really inspiring….Kudos to this article…A perfect blend and flow with thought provoking snippet …Thanks to countingducks for sharing such a beautiful post 🙂

Recently I saw a brief clip of Stephen Hawkins on television : he communicates from his largely impassive face through imperceptible movements in his cheek which somehow translate into computer speech. Literally  he is an old man trapped in a wheel chair who can hardly smile and certainly cannot move a limb but he is rather more than that I suspect we might agree.

His is a powerful and original mind, but most of all he is a man of curiosity and a wonder which has transported him from the everyday, to look at things beyond his circumstances, and not within them. He still seems alive with an awe and insight, and even youth. Yes I’m sure he’d like to run and skip and dance as badly as I do, but his interest in the world around him, leaves him little time for a comparison of circumstances. It is easy to admire such…

Two Minutes To Notice

Everyday in a hurry to catch the train , u miss those two minutes to notice . Each one should try and give up those minutes to people in need. My noticing has increased ,as each day I come across them but my minutes should also increase at times .

In the midst of crowd , I was waiting for a friend
Watching the hustle , passing by like a wind
Clouds were crying , umbrellas were dashing
Still I stood , As I had an errand

Then I noticed a hand with a stick
Behind him was one more without it
Through the struggle , lost in the hurry
My empty hands gave them a sigh of relief

We juggled through the path ,
they muttered to the world
As all they wanted was , to be heard

Two minutes to notice , all it takes
You blessed with whole , what is at stake ??

A Tearful Sound

Tears

Life is running smooth
Standing legs on local train ,
Commuters crowd at each station
I hum with my music play each day
The wind gushes makes me calm
Clinging to the rod , I observe my city
That day was like any other day
But
A stranger standing besides me
was sobbing silently .
At first I thought , she had a cold
The cold never stopped ,
I looked at the lady , she was expecting
At second I though , she had a hormonal outbreak
The hormones never stopped
Reluctant to the core , I never managed to ask her sufferings
The tearful sound still wonders a ‘why’ to my ear
I wish if she wouldn’t have mind my interfere……

Manipulators

The minds of naive are transparent
public catching them are apparent

Lost are they in the jungle gym
fail to recognize the inner brim

Crowded are the manipulates,
easily can they stipulate

Hazed are the judgments

The trap is done
mock was a fun

You realize it later
Now clear with the traitor

Each time, appears the treachery
You become aware of the false

Somethings……..

There are always Something’s in life which are best understood by ‘just yourself’ . Each one in life goes through a phase making them feel as ‘life turning into one hell’ . How complicated the situation is turning out can be just felt by you . You are surrounded by people who are giving you hope, willing to believe in you . People who are trying to make you understand to take a step , to make a rational decisions . But your mind tells ‘Its something’ which no one can understand’ . Its something which only my mind knows the complexity of the situation. Consolers are always ready with their sympathizer pill. Well known are roaming around in empathizer environment . Both parties are trying their best to get your mojo back . But the feeling of ‘something’ can’t be neglected . You fight to hold on , at the same time fight to let go . Humans always quote out of anger ‘just try to put yourself in my shoes’ . But even if they do so , the intensity cannot be equalized . You meet them half way through. As I am in my ‘Something phase ‘ , I would turn worse hypocrite if I tell ‘I never belong to the party of consolers and empathizers ‘ . All belong to the continuous turns of role play , Humans try to understand each other but end up knowing nothing about the others . Because it is that ‘Something’ which matters and will always matter .
This whole crap written above can be somewhat described in an optimistic way in the famous quote .

What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lives within us.’

Wild Part

wild1

Longing lingers around the year
face carries an invisible smear
Always breathed a simple life
Never complained of the only choice,
As some are blessed with no voice
A part of shyness blocked
A part of limit stopped
A part of me undetermined
Life unknowingly crawls

A murmur inside calls
Go live a life ,
forget the screams
The wild part steams
The wild part yearns
The wild part wishes
The part forever covets

Inspiring Article III

robertkaplan_profile-main

Finally I caught another one.!!!!! . Usually I look for something unique and different in an inspiring article i want to share on the blog . This article in the newspaper, although a big one managed to caught my eye . The way editing of the article has been done is almost flawless and the sharp wisdom of Robert Steven Kaplan left me ponder a while. So my pondering I have always shared with the bloggers!!!!!! Hope you guys too enjoy it!!!!!….Again I don’t fail to mention. Its mere sharing and the views are not written by me .

What Success Really Feels Like

People have to take responsibility for managing their careers says Harvards Robert Steven Kaplan you cant be a bystander in your own life .
As a vice-chairman-of-the-Goldman-Sachs- Group turned-Harvard-Business-School-professor,Robert Steven Kaplan often has graduating students dropping into his office for career advice.A typical case might go like this: the student applied for a high paying job in the financial services sector, but now that the offer has actually come though, hes not sure its what he wants. He feels guilty about his ambivalence since its a job everyone else covets and rejecting it seems selfish and self-indulgent.Maybe he should put his misgivings aside and do what his family and friends expect
Many of us motor through our young adult years trying to rack up one achievement after another being successful, says Kaplan, who has recently authored a book titled What Youre Really Meant to Do: a road map for reaching your unique potential.I advise students to beware of conventional wisdom and focus on the difficult task of understanding who they are and where their interests lie.You cant be a bystander in your own life.Managing your career is 100% your responsibility.
The problem is not limited to b-school campuses.Kaplan narrates numerous cases of accomplished individuals who find they no longer enjoy what they are doing. They dont feel successful, though everyone around them thinks they are, says Kaplan. In mid-career executives it manifests itself in a feeling of confusion about where to turn and a concern that they have painted themselves into a corner. In older executives and professionals, its sometimes reflected in feelings of bitterness and regret.
Whatever stage in their careers they may be at,Kaplan advises his readers to go through a process of heightening their self-awareness.The first step here is to assess ones strengths and weakness, not in terms of vague character traits, but in terms of skills. These might include skills in written communication, presentation, quanitative analysis, negoatiation, interpersonal skills and ability to confront others constructively. The importance of these skills varies according to the job and the level of responsibility,so this analysis is an ongoing process.
A skills mismatch is one of the common reasons people find themselves unhappy in a job to which they have been promoted. In some cases,it is the reason they are not promoted.Kaplan advises everyone to make a habit out of introspecting on their skills so they may pro-actively manage their capabilities. This doesnt mean trying to develop a skill you are inherently weak at.On the contrary,it might be best managed by delegating that part of the job to someone who is truly good at it.
Kaplan presents an example from the financial sector, where a junior executive had excellent market knowledge and client skills, but lacked the quanitative skills required for financial modeling,an important part of stock picking. She was set to quit her job when her seniors suggested she might be able to offset her weakness by teaming up with others on her client teams. She stayed on and moved up to more senior positions where her job required less modeling and ultimately emerged as one of the top professionals in her firm. This is a lesson I learned in my own career: the capabilities of my assembled team needed to fit with my own skills and deficiencies, says Kaplan.
Another step to self awareness is to identify your passions. What Youre Really Meant To Do suggests exercises like thinking back to a time when you were at your best or asking yourself questions like If I had enough money to do whatever I wanted, what career would I pursue. Some people may not want to get into this territory, fearing it might lead them to do something drastic, but Kaplan says getting in touch with your passions is critical to reaching your potential : You dont need to immediately decide what action to take or assess whether your dream is realistic. But when youre aware of what youre looking for,it becomes easier to recognise opportunities.
Before you start looking for opportunities to reach your potential,Kaplan recommends you pause and go through one more step: understanding why you behave as you do.The best way to begin is to write down your life story, starting chronologically with where you were born, describing your family, your growing years, key events. Most people carry two different narratives of their lives with them a success narrative they tell others, where they are the heroes overcoming the odds and a failure narrative which they never share, which is full of angst and self-doubt.The exercise of writing down both narratives will take time but it will help you recognize patterns in your behaviour. The effort is hard work but it can pay big dividends, says Kaplan.Sometimes we know what we should do but cant bring ourselves to do it.We need to understand the internal impediments that are keeping us from taking certain actions.

Here,Kaplan narrates the case of a restaurant operator who he met at the owner-president course at Harvard. The man had started with a mid-priced Italian restaurant and had later expanded these to multiple locations. Now he was sick of the business and was considering selling.A longish conversation revealed that he came from a family of successful corporate executives and his dominant father had never approved of him becoming a chef. His passion was creating new dishes and serving customers but he had built a chain with a large number of employees because this measured up to his fathers idea of success. Now he was spending most of his time scouting locations and tying up finance for new projects, which he hated. As a result of this discussion,he realised he needed to drop the baggage he had been carrying to please others. He got back to what he enjoyed, says Kaplan.
Understanding what you really want is important, but in order to get it,you need to engage with the world outside. For one thing,it is essential to communicate your dreams to those who might help get you there, which,in an organisational set-up,is your boss.
Some people hesitate to communicate upward thinking it to be too political, but this mind-set can be self-defeating,says Kaplan: You may believe your boss or other senior people know you well enough to understand how your skills fit with your passions, but the truth is,they usually dont. They expect you to take responsibility for communicating to them what you want.
For those whose dream job happens to be a leadership position,Kaplans advice is: be willing to act like a leader. This means speaking up for your convictions, judging your actions through the prism of whether it is good for the organisation, helping others without regard to whats in it for you, giving credit to others and doing the job with the next-job-up in mind. All of these are risky and many would find it hard to sustain this type of attitude over a career, but Kaplan believes those who demonstrate courage by questioning authority and speaking up stand a greater chance of advancing to greater roles in their organisations: You have to play the game with some degree of abandon. When the stakes get high, people become unduly hesitant or fearful. As a leader, you have to be relaxed and authentic and able to assert yourself.
Lastly, and most importantly, you need to cultivate relationships try as you may,you cant do it alone. In the Facebook era, relationships may seem easy to develop, but being connected is not the same as having people you can draw on in times of need.In my experience, one of the biggest impediments to reaching your full potential is isolation. Its not lack of skills or bad luck that sets you back it is that you become isolated and loose perspective. You stop seeing yourself objectively and make poor decisions, says Kaplan.
Kaplan is the person a lot of people go to for help in a time of crisis and he,ironically, ends up advising them to communicate with individuals who are closer to their situation people they should have spoken to much before. Why didnt they reach out sooner There are lots of reasons they give, says Kaplan. They dont want to bother anyone. They didnt have a person they trusted or respected enough to confide in.They feared the person would no longer respect them. But the truth is,when you approach someone for help, most of them would try their best to be helpful.

Red Herrings

Silent shouts suddenly bumps

two-minute happiness thumps

Thought came a new day

but again heard some delay

The wait is impulsively irresistible

left feeling nothing achievable

Eyes are wet in disguise

Voice mumbling the reprise

All the red herrings applied

I again chair the reside

A Song

music

A song got stuck to my head ,

chill through the veins felt inside my body ,

hearing myself hum the lyrics

Tune whispering in my ears

I found solace in music

Such is the power of few voice

longing a deep caprice

I fell in love with my moody melancholy .

A song got stuck to my head

heart sensed an unbound thread

Versions Of Life

Life is a bummer
Toasted in the name of rummer
At times in moribund ,

It is never ever the same
Each time you want to earn a score ,

greed of power arouses the splurge
The life-points are purged

Life is a brouhaha
attacking back as piranha
ticking by a torpedo
dressed in a tuxedo

Life is a gospel
We cause a dispel
inside creates repel
unsealed by a scalpel

Everything written up
is a crap ..It is
Nothing but a four
letter word….(LIFE)
Root, a three letter word…(BIO)
Two-letter word ….(BE)
Never reduce to
one letter- word ..(I)
Raise the toast for Carpe Diem!!!

You fear losing the close ones , yet want to break -free your path tons

You debate the modern views , yet can’t neglect the conservative views

You believe in the spiritual path yet want to have materialistic math

You want to get everything , but are left with nothing

The feeling is unbeatable , emotions unstable

Your worries seem endless , you hide the suppress

Trust is All I give , Trust is What I need

graffiti

Gloomy  days are passing by ,

which crept like a shadow

Haunted in the dreamy nights

numbing my first light

beacon of hope came to rescue ,

bloggers around the world as hue

Branching out in virtual life,

gave me strength

Made few bonds in length

Doubts cripples us is never

have I denied

Open with the confide

Trust is life’s difficult task

It is what I ever ask

As Trust is All I can give

Trust is what I need …

Clear Conscience

Clear

Struggling through the years

Watching yourself live in constant fears ,

Emerging from the unwanted moat

Felt the gloat coming from the throat

A new chapter begun,

It is never-ending, you

can’t rid the shun

remnants of struggle backfired ,

battling the desires

Just one thing you aimed ,

Clear conscience to reclaim

Never wanting to be the part

of world game

How I wish the ‘overcame’

A Zillion Wants

Blooms of desires wreck everyday,

Scattered energies leaves it obscure

The best comes in attire,

Lost inside the acquire

Radial hands are moving fast,

Dreams are stuck inside the cask

A zillion ‘wants’ is a Pandora’s Box,

Yet you spread the wish of more.

From The Past Few Days…..

Senses of the plunges begun,

deposits of remorse trying to shun

Sometimes it works , at times stagnates

pulling all away like a magnet

The sun is new each morning,

efforts at best to leave the hauling

A walk out of the blue bumps,

I leave my fear outside the temple

irregular rains bring me a smile

howl of the winds slows my mile

Each steps brings closer to the dome

whilst I wish to never end my roam

Letting Go

Art of letting go is tough to learn

My mind got to turn stern

The endless wait has arrived

With a new wait to survive

Recurring thoughts of past mistakes rebound

Heart pounds with the fear of flesh wound

Turning into a new leaf is a long journey

I need to keep myself burning,

As I sit alone in my room

Waiting for my thoughts to resume
